Toshiba always innovative and cares about its customers

Toshiba has always had quite breakthrough products along the years, and recently, they also had some very nice portables and ultraportables. Latest news is that the company is set to break the ice another time, in the form of the world's lightest 13-inch laptop that should have less than 1Kg with SSD storage. What's even more interesting about this is that Toshiba featured a second Super Charged ion Battery power source with this slim laptop. Toshiba does mention a couple of things about this supposedly world's thinnest, and one of them is Blaze Mountain concept, which is probably just some simple architecture cooling system, named pompously to get attention.
As for the processing power, this will have options of Intel's Core i3, i5 and even i7-620 CPUs, along with 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive capacity, whereas there will also be an option for a 512GB SSD. Getting to the design, just like mentioned in the diagram, Toshiba has adopted a honeycomb rib durable structure, and they even say it's a world's first, but what's sure is that it looks very elegant without losing its personal touch.
Last but not least, the differentiated technology will be upgradeable, so that users will also be able to upgrade after they buy the product, rather than just buying a new laptop like you have to with some other manufacturers, if one needs better graphics, for example. Left to say would be the fact that given a decent price, this could seriously tear apart the market of some laptop manufacturers that pride on lightest and thinnest products. Toshiba will be announcing these pretty soon for their valuable customers.

What Is a Satellite Laptop Computer?

What Is a Satellite Laptop Computer?

The Toshiba Satellite is the most popular line of Toshiba laptops. The Satellite comes in many models, and there is a difference in price between the models. The earliest Toshiba Satellite models lacked internal CD or floppy drives, and all needed to be connected through the external parallel ports. Early models were priced at more than $3,000, but technology has evolved to the point where even the most high-end models top out at around $2,500.

Toshiba introduced its first laptop in 1985. It was not only Toshiba's first model; it was the first laptop computer in the industry.
Significance:
Toshiba's Satellite line of personal laptop computers were the first in the industry to offer wireless access, as well. In the years since, nearly all laptops offer wireless connectivity as standard options.
Types:
Toshiba's Satellite laptops vary widely in capabilities. The A200 is the low-end model, and the X Series feature the high-end components and capabilities.

Toshiba offer Satellite models in both 15- and 17-inch models. All Toshiba Satellite models come standard with wide-aspect screens and many offer HD compatibility options as well.

What Are the Dangers of Laptop Computers?

What Are the Dangers of Laptop Computers?

Although laptop computers can be very convenient, they do in fact have inherent risks. Their ease of use and portability are actually one of the reasons that they are riskier than desktop computers. Laptop computers can be a financial risk, can introduce health concerns, and can be a risk to your personal data.
Health concerns
Laptop computers get pretty warm. Frequently users will sit with their laptops literally on their laps. Claims have been made that the heat from the laptops causes male sperm counts to lower. This argument has gone on for years, but reliable experimentation has yet to be done to confirm it. In addition, laptop computers have a keyboard that is very small compared to some of the ergonomic keyboards that are used for desktop computers. This keyboard may be in a bad position relative to the screen and may cause a hunched posture that strains muscles, as well as forcing the wrists into unnatural positions that may or may not cause carpal tunnel syndrome. Lastly, laptop batteries have been known to overheat and explode. Any explosion in your lap cannot possibly be good.
Financial Risks:
Laptop computers have very little flexibility in terms of upgradeability. Although the RAM can be upgraded fairly easily, the hard drives are more difficult, and the processor is more difficult still. The video cards, screens, sound cards, keyboards, etc., are completely incapable of being upgraded without an external device. So in order to upgrade your laptop, you usually need to buy a new one.

This also is true when an irreplaceable component fails. And finally, laptops tend to have failing parts. Their batteries are exposed to high heat and repeated discharges and need to be replaced periodically. The very nature of portable computers means that they are moved around quite a bit. This wear and tear causes premature failure of the machine.
Data Security:
It is not uncommon for laptops to get stolen. Not only does this add to the financial risks of ownership, but now your data is out there. It doesn't matter how strong your password is, if you have a fingerprint scanner, or if you have LoJack. Once your computer is stolen, hackers can get into your data. Furthermore, laptops are generally taken to places with Wi-Fi hotspots in order to access the Internet. The problem is that hackers look for areas with large groups of wireless computers such as Wi-Fi hotspots in order to launch their attacks. In addition to stealing private data, they can use your computer to launch attacks against other computers.
