Toshiba T1200

The Toshiba T1200 this was manufactured bay Toshiba in 1987. Is was the new or next version of Toshiba T1100 Plus. this was the pervious model this model T1100 was more efficient and powerful then that
Its processor was Intel 80C86 processor at 9.54 MHz, 1MB RAM of which 384kB could be used for LIM EMS or as a RAM disk, CGA graphics card, one 720Kb 3.5" floppy drive and one 20 MB hard drive some have two some have only one floppy drive MS-DOS 3.30 was included with the laptop. It was the first laptop with a swappable battery pack. Its original price was $6499.
The T1200's hard drive had an unusual 26-pin interface made by JVC, incompatible with ST506/412 or ATA interfaces. Floppy drives were connected using similar 26-pin connectors. The computer had many unique functions, such as Hard RAM - a small part of RAM memory was battery-backed and could be used as non-volatile hard drive. Another function allowed to suspend the system or power control the hard drive (which was still dependent on the hard disk's on/off switch).
The Toshiba T1200xe is a later model of this laptop. It had a 12 MHz 80C286 processor and a 20Mb hard disk drive. It also had 1Mb of RAM expandable to 5Mb.

There were five versions that were exist in the market The T3100/20 was essentially the same as the base T3100 but with a larger hard drive (20 Mb instead of 10 Mb).The T3100e had a 12 MHz 80286 CPU, 1 Mb RAM and a 20 Mb hard drive. The T3100e/40 was the same as the T3100e, but with a larger 40 Mb hard drive. The T3100SX had a 16 MHz i386SX CPU, 1MB RAM and a 40 Mb or 80 Mb hard drive, and also included an internal rechargeable battery for true portability.

Toshiba Satellite
Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916, special edition model with Intel Core 2 Centrino and ATI Radeon HD graphics.
The Toshiba Satellite; is consumer-grade laptop computers. Models in the Satellite family vary greatly, ranging from entry-level models to full-fledged media center-class notebooks. The satellite name was only name of brand nothing more then this. no technical association to terminologies used in "satellite phone/sat phone" or any modes of data transfer via orbital satellites.
The early models did not come with an internal CD-ROM drive, but these eventually came as mobile technology progressed. Such models can easily blocked with an external CD-ROM drive through the parallel port on the back Some Satellites also lacked an internal floppy disk drive, but a port on the side allowed the use of a proprietary external module for such. These machines tended to be smaller in physical size, but yet much thicker than they are today, and unlike today's, which tend to be wider in width and breadth after this some period of time some model come in the market like In Spring 2000 some models came with a 15 inch screen and a built in DVD drive, a 6GB HDD and ran at 500 MHz and ther price was $2400 this was easily affordable with at that time They also had a model called the Satellite Pro. Newer models of the Satellite Pro are still being sold.
