Toshiba pre-installs Nero Back It Up & Burn Auto backup Essentials on its laptops and
external hard disk drives; laptops also feature Nero 9 Essentials
Neuss, Germany, 15th April 2010 – Toshiba Computer Systems, a division of Toshiba Europe GmbH, today announced that in Europe, Middle East and Africa all newly launched Toshiba laptop ranges will ship with burning and backup software from Nero pre-installed. In addition, Toshiba's external hard disk drives STOR.E Steel 2.5'' and STOR.E D10, due to hit the market from July 2010, will be equipped with Nero software as well.
“The Nero backup and burning software, offering acces to Nero's online storage solution, adds another ready-to-use option to back-up valuable data. Now users can choose between backing-up their data on an external hard disk drive or on the cloud without the need of complex set-ups," said Thomas Teckentrup, General Manager, Product, Strategy and Development Division, Computer Systems Group EMEA.
